Cold Press Machine Pressing Boards Steps:
1. After gluing (by brushing or spraying) on the boards, quickly assemble and align the stack, then stack it neatly on the work table.
2. Activate the equipment to apply pressure (set to 50–60 tons) and maintain it for the followings:
• White PVA glue: 4–8 hours;
• laminating glue adhesive: Maintain pressure for 2–5 hours;
• Pre-pressing stage: 30–60 minutes, then transfer directly to the hot press machine.

What is the difference between a cold press and a hot press machine?
A cold press applies pressure at room temperature (25–30°C) and is used for white PVA glue and veneer pre-pressing — it will not damage or discolour delicate veneer.
A hot press applies heat and pressure simultaneously, curing glue much faster and is used for high-volume lamination and melamine paper pressing.
