Thicknesser planer (often simply called a planer) is a core piece of woodworking equipment. Its core function can be summarized in four words: thickness determination and straightening. Simply put, it processes a piece of wood with a flat reference surface into a finished product with uniform thickness, a smooth surface, and perfectly parallel sides.

Thicknesser Planer: Operation is very simple. Set the thickness, press the switch, and the machine will complete the process automatically. However, it’s important to note that the length of the wood must be greater than the distance between the front and rear rollers; otherwise, it will jam.
The worktable is at the bottom, and the cutter shaft is at the top. The wood is automatically wound into the rubber rollers, and the cutter shaft cuts from above. The operator only needs to set the thickness; the machine completes the process automatically, and both hands are generally safe.
The thicknesser planer primarily processes the surface of wood panels; it can only handle flat surfaces and cannot be used for edge processing.
