In short, it solves two key problems:
1. Edge banding: Covering the rough sides of the board, improving its appearance, and preventing moisture and warping.
2. Beveling: Cutting the joints at a 45-degree angle to create a neat, seamless 90-degree right angle after splicing, commonly used for cabinet doors, picture frames, tabletops, and other areas requiring a refined finish.

Description
1. Preparation: After the sheet material is sawn, load the edge banding strip (usually a roll of PVC, ABS, acrylic, or other similar materials) into the machine.
2. Glue Application: Apply hot melt adhesive evenly to the edges of the sheet material and the edge banding strip using the machine’s glue pot or rollers.
3. Pressing and Cutting: Feed the sheet material in, and the edge banding strip is pressed against the edge. When the end of the sheet material reaches a specific position, the machine’s bevel cutter will precisely and synchronously cut the edge banding strip at a 45-degree angle.
4. Post-processing: After removing the workpiece, excess edge banding material is usually removed manually using an edge trimmer or scraper to make the edges smoother and flatter.
• Efficiency: The speed is much lower than automated production lines, suitable for delicate work but not for large-scale production of single workpieces.
• Operator Requirements: Although easy to learn, achieving precision and aesthetics heavily relies on the operator’s experience and feel (such as the uniformity of feed speed and pressure control).
• Functional Limitations: Generally, it only performs gluing, pressing, and end-cutting functions. Subsequent processes such as trimming (front and back ends), rough trimming, fine trimming, edge scraping, and polishing usually require additional manual tools or separately purchased trimming equipment.
• Preparation: The sawing precision of the board material is fundamental. If the board material itself is not square, the edge banding effect will be significantly compromised.

1. Cabinet Door Manufacturing:
· Cabinet and Wardrobe Doors: This is the most classic application. It’s used to band the four sides of door panels, creating a high-end “framed door panel” effect through perfect splicing at four 45-degree angles.
· Drawer Panels: Also used for delicate edge banding around drawer panels.
2. Tabletop and Countertop Edge Treatment:
· Thickening the edge banding of desks, computer desks, counters, etc. (using thicker edge banding strips), and cutting the splicing angles to 45 degrees, making the tabletop appear more like a solid wood unit.
